The WHO HIPP UK Collaborating is working with WHO Regional Office for Europe in developing a resource pack to support presentations on non-communicable diseases in prisons. This builds on the conclusions from the WHO Lisbon meeting that we need to work on "prison health in all policies".

As part of the resource pack there will be evidence of the prevalence of NCDs in prison and also some examples of interventions to address NCDs in prison in a slide set format. The aim of the pack is to describe how working with the prison population can reduce the prevalence of non-communicable diseases overall and that this group should not be forgotten in the development of programmes and policies for health improvement.

If you have any papers that you can sign post us to in developing this pack then please email Sunita Sturup-Toft at the the Collaborating Centre on sunita.sturup-toft@phe.gov.uk

Thank you for your help and support in advance!
