The Health and Justice team at UKHSA are running an international webinars to support the publication of the Multi-agency plan for incidents and outbreaks of communicable diseases in secure settings in England guidance (Management of incidents and outbreaks of communicable disease in secure settings. - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)). The webinar aim to bring together stakeholders from across a wide range of professions and settings to increase awareness of outbreak management processes in secure settings. There will be a variety of speakers, bringing their own experience of managing outbreaks in prisons, immigration removal centers, and the children and young people secure estate.
The intended audience is people working in secure settings, healthcare professionals with an interest in prison health, public health professionals working in government agencies, health systems or Non-governmental organisations.

Aim: To work with other countries to increase awareness of the common challenges regarding outbreak management of infectious diseases in secure settings, to share what best practice in England looks like by promoting the newly published guidance and to encourage collaborative working between agencies.
