About: I am a public health doctor and researcher working with the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Health in Prisons Programme, WHO European Region. My academic base is in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. My two distinct areas of research interest are the health of socially excluded groups and educational research. I am a mixed methods researcher with experience of working with people in prison and on probation. I am particularly interested in the health of women in prison, the management of NCDs in prison, participatory research and capacity development.
