Penny Abbott
About: Penny is an academic general practitioner who has worked in prisons and community practice since 1992 and as a researcher at Western Sydney University since 2011. She has been on the Board of the prison health service in NSW Australia since 2015. She has served on multiple committees in her intersecting roles as a clinician, researcher and manager, including in her interest areas of prison health, Indigenous health, substance misuse, chronic disease and integrated care.
