Vladislav Busmachiu has held different positions in the prison service of Republic of Moldova since 2011. His main fields of activity and project development expertise are coordination of foreign projects in prison service of the Republic of Moldova, promotion for prison health care and related health issues (especially harm reduction programs, prison vaccination, drug dependence and Therapeutic Communities for drug dependent persons).

He has taken part in the peer reviewed in the Handbook on Prison-based Therapeutic Communities, in some publications and several articles in international journals and books such as Good Practices in Managing Infectious Diseases in Prison Settings: a Snapshot of Responses to COVID-19 Implemented around the Globe between May and September 2020.

He has gained project experiences by participating in and leading of several European Union and Council of Europe projects.

 

 

 

 

Irina Barbiros has a master’s degree in Public Health Management. Since 2009. she has held different jobs in health care department of the prison service of the Republic of Moldova.

Currently she is Head of Medical Directorate of National Administration of Penitentiaries of Republic of Moldova. Her main fields of activity and project development expertise are related to increase the quality of prison health services, methadone substitution treatment, reducing the transmission of communicable diseases and reducing drug-related risk behaviour through the implementation of the prison needle exchange programme. She is HIV prevention coordinator in the prison administration system

She has gained project experience by participating in and leading several health care projects implemented in the prison service of Republic of Moldova.

 

  

 

Lucia Tataru is undergoing master study in Public Health Management. Since 2017, she has held different jobs in health care Department of the Prison Service of Republic of Moldova. Currently she is an epidemiologist within the Medical Directorate of National Administration of Penitentiaries. Her main fields of activity and expertise are related to implementation of the prison needle exchange programme, COVID-19 prevention, and vaccination policy in the penitentiary system of Moldova.

She has gained project experience by participating in several health care projects implemented in the prison service of Republic of Moldova.

 

 

 

 

 

 Liuba Jignea-Suveica has a master’s degree in law, and since 2011 has held different job positions in the prison service of Republic of Moldova, currently she is deputy Director of National Administration of Penitentiaries. Her main fields of activity and project development expertise are juvenile criminal justice, psycho-social reintegration of women and minors’ prisoners, former prisoners, and socially vulnerable persons. Promotion of prison health care and related health issues is one of the key objectives, as deputy director.

She has gained project experience by participating in and leading several projects implemented in the prison service of Republic of Moldova.
