Making Prisons and Places of Detention Resilient to Infectious Diseases
A great deal of work was done in building resilience to infectious diseases in places of detention during the recent pandemic. However, many of the good practice contributions from practitioners, policymakers, people with lived experience and researchers are undocumented, limiting the ability of knowledge sharing and learning from others. This call is primarily targeted at participants of the London 2023 Health in Prisons and Places of detention International Conference, jointly organised by the UK Health Security Agency and WHO Regional Office for Europe, who presented their work as posters.
